I am a Spanish to English translator specializing in technical and scientific texts. I started college at UW-Madison as an engineering major, but after two years of coursework towards a degree in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics I switched my major to Spanish. I spent the 2006-2007 school year studying abroad in Seville, Spain, and completed my BA in Spanish in 2007.
I am currently a graduate student in the translation track of the MA in Foreign Language and Literature program at UW-Milwaukee, where I also teach two sections of second semester Spanish. I will be graduating in about three weeks.
I hope to use this blog as a place to reflect on my experiences as I start off after graduation and share any wisdom I may acquire on the way. Thanks for reading!
